Find the 2017 article in USA Today where they uncovered that The VA purposely choses incompetent and bad medical personnel. Then blow it off with hopes of the victim going away. The VA let an unlicensed, unsupervised 1st year intern give me medicine that she knew I am severely allergic to. She didn’t check with her supervisor, me, or anyone and turned of the alert in the computer that would have alerted everyone. I filed an sf95 that sat on a desk for nearly 6 months, then she retired. It went to Puerto Rico to another VA person who I’m sure will deny it. The VA doesn’t care about Veterans. They blew off Agent Orange and Camp Lejuene until most Veterans had died and until they were forced to take responsibility. Don’t join and especially don’t get “care” at The VA if at all possible. They WILL eventually hurt you.

The VA doesn’t give a dam about veterans. The VA let a first year intern give me a weeks worth of penicillin knowing I had a severe allergy to penicillin. The VA is now just blowing me off so they don’t have to take responsibility. The government and The VA prefers we veterans were dead.

The KCMO VA Hospital allowed and unlicensed, unsupervised doctor knowingly and intentionally give me a medicine to which I am severely allergic. It’s messed me up. The VA does nothing but give me the run around. Stay away from the VA brothers and sisters The VA is unsafe.

All lies. None of this matters if you don't win the Indiana State medical panel review which is almost impossible. And then what they don't tell you is that your injury has to be really substantial for them to even consider taking it. So if you suffered an injury and it's not substantial enough for them to earn money you're out of luck. Wish they would quit with the BS.

Tell the VA to go out and do the job of getting shot at if they wont hold up their end of the bargain. Tell them to go offer up their arms and legs in the service of this country. You dont get to just take care of these guys until you dont feel like it anymore. You want our commitment then you commit to us. Its supposed to be a trust. Enlistment is already way down. No reason to sign up if the VA is just gonna screw you if you get hurt. Tells you wright off the bat not to trust Uncle Sam anymore in a contract.

On top of the doctor prescribing a blood pressure medicine to me that caused permanent erectile dysfunction..which I didn’t know until it happened, so I looked it up and in all dark caps it read (WILL CAUSE ERECTILE DISFUNCTION) under the warnings…The Nashville VA hospital gave me a drug I was highly allergic to, so I had to be hospitalized because of that.. Then, while in overnight, a nurse came in and told me to take out my phone and billfold and put them in the drawer next to me for security and comfort. So I did..later that night she came back in, open the drawer and took both..I asked her why she was taking my things and her reply was your not supposed to be awake, she then leaned over turned some knob and I went out like a light….then even later that night, another nurse came in and posted a security guard at my outside room door, and she had a empty Needle and told me my IV was clogged and she was going to unclog it..she kept banging the palm of her hand trying to get the air from her needle into my IV.. All the time I was begging her to stop she was hurting me..she must have hit that needle 20 times before she stopped, collapsing my vein..so when morning finally came and the doctor made his rounds I told him what happened, he looked at me as if he could care less, and never said a word..I told him to get me discharged because I wasn’t staying another night in their torture chamber..then a stocky male nurse came in later and wraps the excess catheter hose around his arm and wrist, tell me to raise my knees and relax, next thing I see his back facing me, he throws his arm like he was throwing a baseball and rips the catheter out of me…I still burn when I pee to this day…I’d rather die than to Ever go back to that VA hospital….

Screw the lawyers, they don’t do shit! They refused to represent my son for: contracting Tardive dyskinesia (antipsychotic drugs caused it) and refused to sue for medical malpractice when the VA Psychiatrist Cecile Solivan (French camp- Stockton) prescribed my son Valiums (benzodiazepines) for 6+years, they are for short-term 3-4 WEEKS!!!!!! Not 6yrs, plus she kept increasing Valiums until he was taking 30mg daily in the morning. Ray Charles could see that’s BS!!!!! Oh, she did want to increase to 40mg until I fired her. We stop seeing her, complained to her supervisors, including Mr Silva (Livermore) NOTHING EVER HAPPEN, NO NOT EVEN AN ADMONISHMENT!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus Christ he continues suffering. Then you have COMMUNITY CARE, THEY REFUSE TO REIMBURSE ME FIR $50.50 because I purchased medication for my son, because they told me to buy it. That was 1.6 months ago, CC👎👎 from the father, caregiver JOSEPH ARSANIS a vet. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 that’s how I feel about the VA, they are okay in there place, they just haven’t dug it yet. 03/25/2023

In my opinion is that VA "doctors" are not required to be controlled by state medical boards (Texas) as they are allowed to follow the same rules as serving military physicians. As government employees they are nearly impossible to fire. There are some fine physicians, unfortunately in my personal experience there are a LOT of bad ones. I pay for Medicare and a supplement insurance myself since I cannot trust VA physicians with my health.

That's not all that the VA.let happen to the vets it is sad .we earned our benefits.and the VA does everythings to keep us from getting our rightfull benifts.i am going through the same thing.they took me into the U .S .Army as a 11- B and I never knew it was flat footed and now I have all kinds of problems .and all they want to do is cut on you to hurt you more and cause a early death so no benefits have to be paid out..I have a problem with my neck.where I had and operation and had a large mass removed inAug.of 1990 .and acousin that went in the army at the same time had this very same thing but he let his get very large now it has come back.i have always had pain from it .I filed a claim for benefits and got to 100/ per cent .so the VA dropped the 10/ per cent rate to keep me from being paid at the 100 percent rating service connected and receiving other benefits .so I had no limits on my active duty military service so why are there limits on my benefits I earned .all my problems are service connected at 100 percent rating.so why are they dropping a 10 per cent rating on my neck that is causing me a lot of trouble.among other pain and stuffing.
